The Millvale Sportsmen’s Club is excited to announce a significant event on March 29, 2025, aimed at both expanding its membership and providing crucial education on concealed carry practices. This dual-purpose gathering, beginning at 09:00, promises to be an informative and engaging day for attendees.
The seminar will be hosted by Jim Stoker, the President of Firearm Owners Against Crime – Institute for Legal, Legislative, and Educational Action (FOAC-ILLEA). Mr. Stoker brings a wealth of expertise to the table, with an extensive background in military and law enforcement, as well as significant experience in the legislative and legal arenas concerning gun rights.
Seminar Highlights
The seminar will cover a range of topics crucial for both new and seasoned gun owners. Attendees can expect to gain insight into the following areas:
- The importance of understanding gun laws and their application
- Practical advice on carrying a firearm for self-defense
- Legal scenarios for when the use of a firearm in self-defense is justified
- Common misconceptions about gun ownership and how to address them
- The role of FOAC-ILLEA in protecting gun owners’ rights and working with the legislature

Please include your name and membership number along with the names of any guests interested in joining MSCI. A $50 deposit is required with the submission of an application for membership. Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot, as spaces may be limited.
Rob Wynkoop, Membership Director, will be on hand after the seminar to process new applications for membership.
